New Bus Service a Success

Beverley North Bus
Cllr Bill Gifford is delighted by the success of the new bus service on the Beverley North Estate. Bill said, "After discussions and a trial run, the County Council agreed with A & M to put on a daily service to the Beverley North area. The bus travels along Windermere Drive, Borrowdale Drive and Guys Cliffe Avenue. This has come about because the local residents saw the need and put their case to the County Council and the bus companies. The service has already increased to a morning return as well as the afternoon return. I would like to see the service expanded further in due course. An improved service is also needed to local hospitals."
Sidney Tyrrell says, "There is still a very real need for much better bus services from Milverton to both Warwick Hospital and the new University Hospital at Walsgrave."
