Have your say on the future of St Nicholas Park and St Johns Museum

February 14, 2007 7:36 PM

St Nicholas Park and St Johns Museum are part of two bids for Heritage Lottery Fund's Parks for People scheme.

This could mean millions of pounds being available to Warwick District Council to improve the two sites.

The bid for funds aims to secure over £2 million to improve St. Nicholas Park and St. Johns House Museum Gardens. Applications are to be submitted by the end of March 2007 and as part of the bid a public consultation exercise has been drawn up.

Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Spokesperson Alan Beddow praised the bid, "St Nicholas Park is one of the finest in the country and I have spent some fantastic times there with my two boys when they were children, if successful this money will give the park and the museum a makeover so that people can continue to enjoy these excellent facilities for years to come."

Warwick District Council are looking for your views and have set up a web page for you to submit your thoughts on the park and how you use it. You can find more information on the bid and questionnaire questionaire using the links below.
