Alan Beddow next to a wall kicked down by Vandals in Leamington
Vandalism & Anti-social Behaviour are two key issues you have told us about as we have been canvassing across Clarendon.
Residents in the area between Campion Road and Villiers Street told us about vandalism to cars and garden walls caused by youths using the roads as a shortcut late at night. You have also told us about recent anti-social behaviour in some of our parks.
Alan Beddow said, "I saw a car smashed up near Villiers Street one morning as I was out canvassing and one of our Focus deliverers told me about a gang of young people glue sniffing in the park at the weekend."
Robert Cunliffe added, "It will be our top priority to tackle this problem before it spreads. At a recent Safer Neighbourhoods meeting I attended, along with Lib Dem Cllrs Sarah Boad and Eithne Goode. The decision was taken to target 'Crime Hot Spots', as a result five under-age drinkers were arrested on suspicion of vandalism to cars. We will continue to focus our efforts on stamping out this unacceptable behaviour in our town."
How you can help.
So we can build a complete picture of this issue across the town, we need you to tell us about similar problems in your area. You can contact us by email on info@warwick-leamington-libdems.org.uk, you can even us your pictures if you have them.
