A panel of local politicians will be put on the spot at a Millennium Development Goals themed 'Question Time' at St. Peter's Church on July 6th, 12.30-2pm.

The panel includes: Labour MP for Warwick and Leamington - James Plaskitt, Conservative MP for Kenilworth & Rugby - Jeremy Wright, Liberal Democrat MP for Solihull - Lorely Burt.

The Millennium Development Goals are eight goals that 192 United Nations member states have agreed to try to achieve by the year 2015. This event is your opportunity to ask a cross party team of three MP's how we are doing and what we need to do to achieve them.

The event is being hosted by the Leamington group of the international development campaigning charity, Results UK. The Director of Results UK, Sheila Davie, will introduce the event.

As we reach the halfway point on the world leader's millennium promises, this event will provide an opportunity for members of the community to learn more about the Millennium Development Goals and to question their MPs on the issues.

This invitation is being sent to local organisations, schools and colleges but any local businesses or individuals with an interest in development are very welcome to come along so please pass it on to anyone you think might be interested, it will be a great opportunity to network with like-minded people.

If you are interested in attending or require further details please contact Sam Black on 01926 435 430, sam@results-uk.org.
