Parking Revenue How should it be spent?
The money from parking fines and fees in the town centre is running ahead of expectations and it looks likely to produce large sums of money for the County Council. The money has to be spent on transport schemes to cut car use, but could in theory be spent anywhere in Warwickshire.
Councillor Chris Davis says, "It is not unreasonable to expect that money from Leamington and Warwick should mainly be spent in Leamington and Warwick. We would like your views on how it should be spent i.e. better and more frequent
buses, park and ride, cycle paths, help for shoppers with disabilities (Shopmobility), more dropped kerbs (for wheelchairs and buggies), walking buses for
